Maison Aribert is in an enviable geographical location at the crossroads of the Vercors, Belledonne and Chartreuse mountain ranges, right in the heart of Uriage-les-Bains’ luxuriant park.
This is where alpine chef Christophe Aribert decided to open a restaurant that would be true to the spirit of his cuisine and close to nature, to offer an authentic experience that cries out to be shared.
The establishment also embodies his deep-seated values and his commitment to environmental responsibility by employing ethical practices and methods, whether they relate to food, agriculture, wellness or education.
“The Vercors is dear to my heart. My great-grandfather was a farmer and a market gardener, my grandfather was a baker, and my father was a chef and a hotelier. This area shaped me. I grew up among the pines, the forests and the mountains of Isère.”
“Maison Aribert’s purpose is to serve highly demanding customers who often come from far afield to discover my cuisine. This always touches me immensely.”
We wanted to offer an experience that is more authentic and personal, by creating a restaurant that is fully aligned with Christophe Aribert’s cuisine, one that allows you to feel a connection with the natural surroundings and the inspiration behind his work.
« Creating a friendly, homely atmosphere was something I was very keen on. I wanted my clientele to feel cared for, to feel at home. »
The hotel offers the warmth and ambience of a guesthouse, while offering high-end services that meet the toughest standards.
Located on the ground floor of Maison Aribert, Café A inhabits a vast cube bathed in light. It serves as an outlet for Chef Aribert’s more rustic gastronomic impulses, with recipes inspired by our mothers and grandmothers.
An eco-friendly establishment
Promoting cuisine with wellness
« At Maison Aribert, we have absolute respect for the seasons, seasonal produce and local products, not to mention the people who produce them. Being a farmer today is challenging, and that will increasingly be the case in the future. »
